Our Executive Board and Trustees for the 2019-2020 Season
Gary Jaskot
President
Gary is a graduate from NJIT with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has been working in the food and beverage packaging industry for 20+ years.  In 2015 the company that he worked for closed for business and he started his own company that designs food and beverage packaging lines.

Gary's interest in volleyball started early on while watching his sister (another Scotty student) play in high school and college.  He started playing club volleyball his first year of college where all of that watching paid off.  While playing club he was asked to tryout for the NJIT team but much to his regret he declined due to the school and work load that he had at the time.  After graduating, he continued to play club volleyball at various levels and currently plays in adult leagues when he can.

Gary became involved in DIGS when his two daughters, Britni and Caelin became interested in volleyball; there was only one club they could learn from and and play for and that was DIGS.  Britni is a graduate of the DIGS program and currently attends Kean University where she is on the volleyball team.  Caelin is also a graduate of the DIGS program and currently attends The University of the Sciences where she sets for the volleyball team.  Gary has been an assistant coach for DIGS for six years and is now going into his 3rd year as a head coach - where his volleyball education continues to expand and grow.  He is a big fan of visualization, watch and then do.  This is Gary's fourth year as DIGS President.
The Executive Board directs club operations on a daily basis. Trustees are responsible for ensuring continuity of the club's mission and not-for-profit structure.  Incumbents in these positions are listed below.  In addition to the Executive Board and Trustees, parents lead the club through chairmanship of and participation on various committees and through responsibilities as team representatives.  Team representatives can be found on the individual team pages.
Susan Jaskot
1st Vice President
Susan was an executive assistant for 24 years, 20 years for the President of a commercial real estate company in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.  Susan's passion for volleyball started in high school when she started to play. In her last two years playing varsity her team went undefeated both years. She was named All Conference in her senior year. Although being offered multiple volleyball scholarships she decided to go to Berkeley Business School instead.  She continued to play competitively in various leagues where she met her husband, Gary.

Susan has two daughters ages 19 and 21.  The girls have been involved with the DIGS program for 12 years now - first as players and now as coaches  When Britni and Caelin became interested in volleyball - there was only one club they could learn from and and play for - and that was DIGS.  Britni is a graduate of the DIGS program and currently attends Kean University where she is a setter for the volleyball team.  Caelin is also a graduate of the DIGS program and currently attends The University of the Sciences where she sets for the volleyball team.

Susan is entering her 4th year as an assistant coach.  This is Susan's 9th year on the Executive Board as the 1st Vice President.
